Great...love to fly-fish for carp. When I visit my nephew in Worcstershire he invites me to fish a great lake.....we call it the Kamikaze lake and its run by the White Swan Piscatorials. They are coarse fishermen...while I use my fly rods...using dog biscuit type stuff like yours. Its not unusual for us to catching every 2 or 3 minutes....hence the name of the lake...the fish just seem to jump out of the water on to your line. I can see this sport growing in popularity as trout fishing becomes more and more expensive. Cant wait for spring again

I fish this about 3 times a year, this year had 1 blank, 1 day of 8 fish between 1.5 and 3lb and one storming day where I had 5 fish the biggest getting close to double figures.
The moving tip is the most important the venue suits mobile tactics and 20 yards can make a big difference.

For 2009 the venue is under new management, higher density stockings with bigger fish and the club is now full with lots of day tickets also being sold

Possible new North American Record Browie 41 lb, 7 1/4 oz. (19.1 k.), 43.75” (1.11 meter) Big Manistee River Manistee County, Manistee Michigan. Yeah, we're proud of it, but 28 pounders arn't uncommon around here. 09 Sept. 2009.
